Beneficial bacteria occurs naturally in the rocks, gravel and biological filter of the Ecosystem Pond but needs to be supplemented weekly to maintain crystal clear water. Beneficial bacteria comes in many forms including dry, liquid, sludge cleaner, and a cold water formula.
