Pond Filters

Quality filtration equipment is crucial to maintaining optimum water quality with minimal maintenance. A biological pond filter provides surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize and remove excess nutrients. Up-flow, biological waterfall filters are the preferred choice of both contractors and homeowners. True Pump recommends the Aquascape Biofalls® filters which can be used for ponds from 200 gallons to 10,000 gallons. In-line pressure filters may be a good choice for smaller ponds or as a retro-fit for a pond initially installed with inadequate filtration. For much larger ponds we recommend constructed wetland filtration.
